This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the DRAI Platform and our related products and services, including DRAI Chat, our Microsoft Word add-in distributed through Microsoft AppSource (collectively, the "Services").
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Organization information (organization name, address)
- Payment information (processed securely through our payment providers)
- Communications with our support team
We also automatically collect certain information when you use our Services, including device information, log data, and usage patterns.
We also collect document content you submit through DRAI Chat, our Microsoft Word add-in.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices and support messages
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
Content you submit to the Services, including documents and files you provide, is processed by third-party large language models via Amazon Bedrock in order to generate responses and proposed edits. We do not use your content to train or fine-tune models.
DRAI Chat for Microsoft Word
DRAI Chat is a Microsoft Word add-in distributed through Microsoft AppSource. The following disclosures apply specifically to the add-in:
- Document content. When you ask an AI-Role a question about the open document, or the AI-Role uses its document-read capability, the text of that document (or the portion required for the task) is transmitted to DRAI and processed by large language models in order to generate responses, proposed tracked changes, and comments.
- Scope of access. The add-in reads only the document that is currently open and active in Word, and only in response to an action you take. It does not scan your file system, mailbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, or any other document.
- Retention. Document content transmitted through the add-in is retained only for the duration of the conversation session and within your workspace's chat history, subject to your organization's configured retention settings. Your organization's administrator may delete conversations at any time.
- No model training. We do not use your document content, prompts, or responses to train or fine-tune large language models, and our model providers are contractually prohibited from doing so.
- Processing location. Content is processed and stored in Amazon Web Services regions in the United States, including AWS GovCloud (US) for workloads that require it. The platform is operated in alignment with CMMC Level 1 practices.
- Authentication. Sign-in occurs in a standard Office dialog against DRAI's own identity provider. We do not request, receive, or store Microsoft account credentials, and we do not use Microsoft Entra ID or Office single sign-on tokens.
- Telemetry. We collect limited error and usage events from the add-in to diagnose failures and improve reliability. We do not collect advertising identifiers from the add-in.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Document content submitted through DRAI Chat is retained only for the conversation session and the associated workspace chat history, under your organization's retention configuration, and is never used to train or fine-tune models.
Your Rights
